Birds, Snakes and Mirrors

We had an exciting weekend. First we had a visit from a Blue Grosbeak.


We also got this picture of the male blue bird. There are at least 2 blue eggs in the bluebird house.


Pat killed this huge copperhead in the mulch around the red maple tree in the front yard.

Lisa completed her southwestern mosaic mirror for the half bath.

She also designed and planted this pot by the front door a couple weeks ago.

We attended the neighborhood block party and met some of our new neighbors. There are lots and lots of children in the neighborhood. They were running, screaming, laughing, crying, skinning their knees etc. We were kind of glad none of them belonged to us and we were kind of glad we didn't have to bring them home with us. There were some other old folks there too and they seemed kind of glad about that stuff too.
