A visit from the Pileated Woodpecker.

This evening after supper, Pat, Lisa and Erin were sitting on the back porch enjoying a piece of Key Lime Yogurt Pie. Suddenly Pat observed a large woodpecker. After investigation, we determined it was a Pileated Woodpecker . There was actually a pair.

Erin was able to play the woodpecker's call on her laptop and the bird would fly towards us and then on over the house. It was very exciting.
