4th of July 2009 at the Champlins

The Scotts, The Drews and The Joanna all came to the Champlins for 4th of July. On Friday, the Scotts and Pat Champlin, joined by Phil Zblewski from Wisconsin, played some excellent golf at Ol Colony golf club. The Scotts both had an off day. Pat excelled. Friday night was game night. We started off playing bocce ball. Drew and Lauren dominated bocce ball play. We played cranium later that night. The team of Erin and Mari Scott won that game. Friday night Erin cooked shrimp and sausage gumbo. For the main course on Saturday we had greek slaw, baked beans, conecuh sausage, ribs, pork tenderloin and butt. Other than that we ate a lot of food, enjoyed the low humidity, fellowship and a bunch of laughs.

Here Pat is molding clay which Catherine must guess which it is.
Elisabeth is the puppet master, David the puppet; no one knew what they were attempting to illustrate.
Erin and Mari brain storming.

Lisa cracking up.

Erin showing off her earrings.

Erin made this delicious monkey bread for breakfast.

Erin's greek slaw.

Pork, sausage, pork.

Ribs. These were excellent. Aunt Mari said that Pat should enter the world championship BBQ sponsored by Knights of Columbus.

Lisa's Aunt Brenda's baked beans. We had to turn the fan on after eating these.

More Bocce ball activity.
