In 45 degree temps with 15-20 MPH winds, Pat and Lisa ran the Red Cross 5 K. Lisa finished her 1st 5k in a blazing 34:07, good for second in her age group and 45
th overall. Pat ran the course in 24:30, also good for second place in his age group and 14
th overall. Each of us got nice little trophies for our trophy cabinets. They gave out door prizes after the race, Pat won a Sound
Soother by Sharper Image. Lisa drew a water bottle. Lisa is hooked on running 5ks now.
Before the race we were interviewed by a reporter with the Tuscaloosa News. He was from
Dothan and said Drew's name sounded familiar. A young couple over heard us talking about
Dothan and said they were from
Dothan too.
