Out in the field...

I had to go out in the field for a while today.  I was driving down this road and had to stop and take this picture of the Bluebonnets.  They are really beautiful, mile after mile of them.

Not really.  Around here that is.  A friend of Lisa's sent this to her.  It was taken near San Marcos, which is a long way from here.  This picture below is more like the roads I drove on today.  That is my work truck parked on the side of the road.

I had to meet someone at this windmill.

Some trucks taking a shortcut through the mesquites.  The mesquites are greening up.

A Chevron pumping unit.

This is a new satellite battery.

This is the Yellow Rose Ranch.  I don't know if they offer tours or not.

Back at the office, the owlets have hatched, but the mother owl is still sitting on them.  Soon they will be too big for her to cover and we'll get some better pictures.
