Yia Yia Mary's

We drove in to Houston to get some sheets at West Elm in the Highland Village shopping area, just west of where Westheimer intersects I-610.  Just a 25 minute drive at 3PM on a Saturday afternoon. Lot's of neat stuff going on there.

Here is a look down a palm tree lined Westheimer.

Nice flower bed.

A busy Apple Store.

Christmas decorations are already out.

On to Yia Yia Mary's for dinner.   This is a Greek place owned by the Pappas family.  They also own the Papadoux's and Papacito restaurants.  Very good stuff.  We'll go back there and try some more of their eats.

We started off with some delicious stuffed grape leaves.

Snapper Plaki for Pat.

Lisa had Seafood Soulvaki.

We took some baklava and baklava cheese cake home with us.

More pretty stuff outside.

 We'll be back.
