FALL BREAK

Well...we all arrived down here at the lovely Blue Mountain Beach Wednesday about 7PM. Sarah, Kiley and I went to dinner at Goatfeathers. I wasn't too excited about it, but the dinner ended up being really good. I got the broiled shrimp dinner with new potatoes. I have spent lots of money on food down here. We are eating well. Late Wednesday night, Davis Ann (Kiley's sister) and all of her friends arrived.

Thursday we got up around Noon and went down to the beach. There are 9 girls total down here. The weather was about 77 and kind of humid. We went in and all showered and got ready to go eat at the Great Southern Cafe in Seaside, which is where Kiley, her sister, and another girl Jesse all worked this summer. Needless to say, they seated us very quickly and were given some very tasty appetizers(on the house of course). I started with some seafood gumbo, and then I had the Grilled Salmon Salad. It was really good and filled me well. I wish I had just stuck with the salad. So, after that, we raced home to make it back by 8 so we wouldn't miss the new episode of Grey's Anatomy. We made it in time, only missing the first 10 minutes. We sat around for a while, and then Kiley, Sarah and I stayed up for a while watching the final episodes of "Flavor of Love 2," starring Flava Flav. We couldn't stay awake any longer, so we finally went to sleep.

We woke up today (Friday) around noon and it was really hazy and cloudy outside. We decided we would go in town and go shopping, but of course, right when we hit the outlets, bright sunny skies come out. We did a complete U-turn and spent the rest of the afternoon out on the beach. It was like 72 and NO humidity. Simply lovely. Around 6, we watched the sun go down. This is Kiley, Sarah, and myself out on the boardwalk.

After that, we came in and got ready to go to the Red Bar in Grayton Beach. This is a picture of Jesse, Kiley, myself and Sarah waiting at the Red Bar.

Here we are back at the house, I'm watching Tristan and Isolde with some of the younger girls. We are waking up and going to the outlets around 10 tomorrow, we heard there were some good sales going on. We will come back and lay out and listen to the game on the radio or try to catch it on TV some, even though we want to be on the beach for a while. Roll Tide!
