Pat and Lisa left Tuscaloosa on Thursday morning for Indianapolis, IN for two nights of the Dave Matthews Band at Deer Creek Amphitheater. We left Tuscaloosa at 7:45 AM and got to our hotel in Carmel, IN at 5:30 PM Eastern time. We stopped at the Steak & Shake for lunch in Franklin, TN. Our waitress sounded like Mini Mouse or maybe the short lady on Poltergiest. We saw lots of burned corn in the field. There was a lot of traffic on the highwy but Pat showed little road rage. When we got to Indiana, the temperatures dropped and we ran into a severe thunderstorm with dime size hail. It was very dark and Lisa was petrified. We got to our hotel and it was about 85 degrees. We went to an outdoor mall called Clay Terrace.
We ate dinner at a Kona Grill. We had salads and four kinds of sushi. After dinner we came back to the room and got ready for bed. It was a long day and we were tired and Lisa left her glasses at home. We got up around 7:30 AM and went to Brunchies for breakfast. Lisa had bacon and english muffin. Pat had sausage and onion omellete with hash browns and toast. After that we drove to Noblesville to find the amphitheater. There were already people camping near the venue.
Then we went to Noblesville and walked around the square. We went in some shots. Lisa wanted Pat to buy her a stuffed coyote.
This area of Indianapolis is very pretty. Looks like most of the construction is less than 10 years old. Good sign ordinances. Lots of corn fields up here. We like it.
Fod lunch we ate at Kincaids. Lisa had open face ham and cheese. Pat had grilled salmon with potatoe cake and asparagus.
