The Jeffreys began arriving Tuesday evening when Geoff showed up. Drew and Lauren arrived Wednesday. We had pizza for dinner. Then we (except Drew) went to see the movie "August Rush". http://augustrushmovie.warnerbros.com/
Drew and Lauren brought Dalton along. He exhibited excellent toilet etiquette while here. We hope all the children can learn excellent toilet etiquette before their next visit to Pat and Lisa's house.
Lisa prepared a fine looking ham:
David, Debbie and Nick got to town Thursday morning. We all ate lunch together. We had to set up a card table to handle the overflow crowd. We ate turkey, dressing, ham, mashed potatoes, butter beans, lady peas, sweet potato casserole, rolls, assorted cranberry dishes and spinach Madelin. We had a lemon, pecan and chocolate squares, miniature pecan pies and Pat's magnificent chocolate pecan coconut oatmeal cookies for desert. We then snoozed around the rest of the afternoon. Pat can't remember what we had for dinner. Lisa said sandwiches. After dinner we played games such as "Are you smarter than a 5th Grader" and "Fact or Crap". We couldn't figure out the directions so we made them up as we went along. None of us were smarter than a 5th grader and most of us were full of crap.
Here is some video of the festivities:
Oh, yeah, BULLDOGS 17 rebs 14. http://youtube.com/watch?v=LgeW73mfJcI
Our next blogging will be in conjunction with the Tuscaloosa Holiday Cottilion when Erin makes her debut the weekend of December 15th. I'm sure we'll all have a swell time then.
