Pat Champlin hits the big 53..

Fabulous birthday weekend at the Champlins. It started off with breakfast at Buddy's with little Erin on Friday morning. That may be my new favorite breakfast place in Tuscaloosa. Then did nothing all day, ran 40 laps at the gym, woke up Saturday and cut the front and back yard, then did nothing the rest of the day except spend gift cards at Lowes, got a new Mr. Coffee and a food processor. For dinner we went to Chuck's which unfortunately was not up to par. I think it was because I was wearing shorts. We had sushi, one of the rolls had conch, which is kind of crunchy. It makes you wonder what it looks like swimming around because you have to chew it so much to get it down and you wonder what part of it is so crunchy. Sunday we got up and went to church then came home, put out some pesticides and herbicides in the yard and cruised the Internet the rest of the day. For dinner, Lisa cooked her delicious chicken and onions and I cooked some squash. Here are some pictures of our dinner. It was as good as it looks. We're going for a walk now, maybe I'll go get some orange cup cakes or ice cream sandwiches for desert.

Don't hate.
