1646 miles later...

We drove in from Dallas in 8 1/2 hours. Houston is still a big town with lots of traffic. We drove, in Houston, for almost an hour before we saw anything pretty, but there was heavy traffic there too. We ate at some diner in the Market Place in the Woodlands Thursday night. Friday morning we went to the Woodlands mall and looked around. After lunch we went to the pool which was full of DMB fans. We met a girl named Kirsten that had been to 124 shows. Lisa is now Facebook friends with her. She had big tattoos. We also met Pat and Christine from Littleton, CO. Pat is a pilot with Continental. We got sunburned. That made it even hotter at the show. It was a good show as all Dave shows are but not a top 5 show. We walked to and from the show so we got back to the hotel around 11PM. We drove to Dallas Saturday morning. Checked into the Hotel Indigo around 1PM. We walked around downtown for awhile and then took a nap. We rode the hotel shuttle to the venue. This was definitely a top 5 show. Sounded great. We caught a cab home afterwards. That was an adventure. We could have walked home, taking Malcolm X Blvd and then taking a left on MLK Blvd, then take Henry Horton Avenue to Main Street. But we finally got the cab.

Here are photos from the trip, not set to music.
