Today we checked out some things. Pat got a haircut that included a steam facial, shampoo in a vibrating chair and a shoulder massage. They do it first class in Midland. Then we explored the
Natural Foods Market . We toured the Midland Mall. Glad we didn't go there the first day. We went to a furniture store called
Aldredge Home , owned by the same people that own the gardens. We could not afford anything in there but we talked to a lady native to Midland for awhile. We ate lunch at the Strawberry Fields Cafe which is attached to the Natural Foods Market. For dinner we went back to
Murray's Deli. This is the same place we ate the first night here. Things sure have changed since then. Midland has got some nice things about it but you have to look for them. We're much more comfortable about moving here with the home situation resolved. We're glad to be getting out of this Hampton. We've been without hot water, no maid service one day and worst of all the i
nternet has been down some. All the people seem friendly and easy to talk to. They say
yall. Lisa asked the realtor where she was from, and pointing, she replied, over yonder. She also commented on the fox blinds in one of the houses. We're ready to get moved now that things are somewhat settled.
Here are few pics from the week.
70s flooring.

I will never forget the house this picture was in or the way it smelled.

This turned into a beautiful sunset.

We looked at the last house on the left, before the rig was set up.

That is our house on the right. There is a large non-
denominational church beyond there.

Baby tumbleweeds.

That is smoke on the horizon from grass fires. Its also part of our subdivision.

I can't figure out if that is an ugly man wearing a yellow dress or a really ugly woman. Scary though, whatever it is.
