Pat Champlin did not get fired today.

I get to come back tomorrow.  I just rode around today.  Once you get out of Midland its not so flat, it reminds me of Sante Fe but you can't see any mountains.  The guy I rode around with today promotes cow roping on the weekends.  We ate lunch in Sterling City.  It was mostly a Mexican place but there weren't any Mexicans working there.  I had enchiladas.  They were good.  My co-worker had a giant chicken fried steak smothered in gravy. He is a big man.  All of these Texans are tall.  I went for a run after work.  I don't think the Texans run. They like to go rodeoing though. Nice cool breeze today, no humidity. No blowing dust. We could see fires off in the distance though. I like it.
