Things have been pretty quiet in Midland lately. We had some cold weather Friday, a little sleet. Today it is sunny but windy. This week is spring break here. I expect most of the citizens to flee to recreation opportunities elsewhere this week. We drove over to Odessa today. Not much to see. So we drove back to Midland.
Texas Mountain Laurel is blooming all over Midland.
This is a Chevron drilling rig. Its in the middle of an industrial park about 6 minutes from our house.
My new running shoes. The Blood Gusher 5K is on March 28th. There will be a couple hundred runners in it. I don't run in these socks. Lisa is thinking about running in it also.

It's a Red Cross benefit I think.
