Pat, Lisa, Debbie Jeffreys and Tricia Alexander Killgore all went to Santa Fe on October 10 for some fun. We ate breakfasts at Guadalupe Cafe, Flying Star Cafe and Zia Diner. Lunches at Wendy's, Vinaigrette, and Luminaria. Dinners at La Plazuela at La Fonda and The Galisteo Bistro. All meals were excellent. The ladies did lots of shopping. Not Pat. We went to Ten Thousand Waves more than once.
Wednesday night we watched the sun set from the La Fonda Bell Tower Bar patio.
Saturday night we brought food home from the Whole Foods Market and ate while watching Mississippi State destroy the Tennessee Vols.
Some of the things we saw along the way..
This young bull antelope. Not sure where this was.
The Farmers Market in Santa Fe.
Lisa looking for a Chile Rista Wreath at the market.
The Aspens still had some beautiful color.
These are some pictures of the unit we rented. It had three bedrooms...we only rented two of them though. This is the den. The fireplace opened out to the back patio also.
The kitchen.
The front entrance. Lots of packages were on those steps by the time we left.
The steps going up there.
A bedroom.

Lisa and Tricia out on the back patio.
The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta was happening. We left Santa Fe at 430AM Sunday morning and got to the venue around 530AM, parked by the gate, walked into the fiesta, watched the mass ascension of the balloons, walked back to our car and were back in Santa Fe for a late breakfast at 930AM. Supposedly there were around a 100,000 people there but we had no problem with traffic at all. Great morning excursion.
