Seemed like we were having a good day..

We left Hoover around 930 and got to Meridian, MS around noon.  It was a rainy day.  We decided to stop at Weidmann's for lunch.  We split a crab cake.  Then we each had a tomato shrimp bisque and salads.  It was all good.  We enjoyed the southern accents of the servers.  Being in Meridian brought back a lot of memories of my early landman days.   I spent many a night in Meridian and ate lunch or dinner at Weidmann's often.  So we finished our lunch and headed back out into the rain for the drive to Madison.  We got to the hotel in Madison and realized we had left all our hangup clothes in the closet at the Hampton Inn in Hoover.  The week before I had left a laptop cord in the same hotel.  They told me housekeeping couldn't find the cord so I was afraid our clothes would wind up with the computer cord.  But we called, they had the clothes and were trying to locate us.  Luckily Drew was able to go to the hotel and ship them to us. We'll have them Monday.  So its not as bad as feared.  For dinner we went to the Jeffrey's.  The Alexander twins came too.  We had some laughs.  After dinner we returned to the hotel.  We tried to enter the wrong room and then realized we couldn't remember our room number so we had to go ask the front desk clerk what room we are staying in.
