The second show was better than the first, a classic. Still lots of folks that couldn't shut up. Though. We just walked around most of the day on Thursday. It was quite chilly.
We had breakfast at the Grill. They gave us a pecan waffle along with our breakfast. The waiters talk a lot. That black dude waited on us. When he took the ladies order, imagine The Ladies Man, Leon Felts, he would say "OK baby, you ready to get it on?".
These are some street scenes in the Quarter.
For lunch, Char grilled oysters from Royal House Oyster Bar. We also had the crab claws sautéed in a lemon garlic butter sauce. We were still stuffed from breakfast so we ate lite.
Some flags on a balcony.
Bacon Pecan Brittle. We didn't get any.
Inside the Saenger from our Night two seats. That guy in the blue jean jacket almost got thrown out.
Tim and Dave playing guitars.
Dave plays some piano too.
We got a cab back to the room after the show for $8.
Friday morning we got the beignets from Cafe Du Mond. These were good but nothing special. I am glad we did not have to wait in line or eat outside. Shipley donuts are better.
More photos from the quarter. I liked this building.
Nice looking street people.
