Pat set his blackberry alarm to go off at 5:45 AM. It did and Pat got up and shaved and got dressed and looked at the hotel clock and it said 5AM. Apparently blackberries don't automatically reset to the timezone you're in. So Pat went back to bed. Then Pat got up at 6 and went and had coffee with P&M folks. Lisa woke up about 7:15 and we ate breakfast. Then we drove out to the mine land office. Pat got a file on mine 19. This is a small project in SE Kansas. Then John, Cherly, Pat and Lisa went to the mine to get some bolt cutters. Someone at the mine asked John if Lisa was his wife. On the way back from the mine, we stopped and looked inside an indian hogahn, the six sided house some indians traditionally live in. Then Pat and Lisa drove over to Window Rock AZ and had lunch. Lisa bought a necklace from some navajo lady by the window rock. We had lunch at the Navaho Inn/Best Western. Club sandwiches. We were the only non navajos in the place. Later we went to the retirement dinner for John. It was very enjoyable. Lisa likes to talk to everybody. Some lady told her she had nice skin. After the dinner, people stood up and told stories about John. It was alot of fun.
