On the way back from Taos we stopped in a little town called Arroyo Seco. We walked around the shops. There was an old Catholic Church there that was built in 1840.
We also saw a dog driving a truck.
We drove out the gorge at some point in the day.
We came back to Taos and did some shopping then came back and ate lunch in the unit. Then we went to Cyds, one of those organic type groceries. There were lots of unique folks in there. Then we came back to the unit and listened as the bulldogs fell to South Carolina. Then we went and did some more shopping. It would be sunny, then rain, then sun and then rain and sun all at the same time.
We ate dinner at Orlando's New Mexican Cafe. Sorry no website. Lisa had Baja fish tacos. Pat had 3 color enchiladas with beans. We each had a side order of hominy but that is not what they called it. After we ate, we noticed how pretty the sunset was off to the west so we headed toward the gorge to take some pictures but realized we didn't have the camera. It was very beautiful, the bright orange colors, storm clouds and lighting all across the horizon. We'll get some pics of that before we leave.
We are having a relaxing time.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAUREN CHAMPLIN!
