At the Beach

Before leaving for the beach, Pat took this picture of a hummingbird. Pat has identified 4 different h-birds that visit the feeder so far.

We left Tuscaloosa around 9:30, Lisa had to go to the tanning bed before we could leave. We packed a lunch and stopped at the rest stop at mile marker 67 on I-65 and ate. There were some massive oak leaf hydrangeas as evidenced by this photo taken by Pat.

We arrived in Joanna's around 230 and sat around for awhile. We headed out to the beach at 5 for dinner at Peg Legs. Pat selected Mixed Grill. This consisted of grilled scallops, shrimp and fish. It was fabulous. Lisa and Joanna chose the boiled shrimp and crab legs. The waitress had to show them how to eat the crab legs.

This is gay weekend at the beach, so we probably won't be going back out there.
