The Champlins made it to DC

There is a State Dinner at the White House but the Champlins aren't going. We drove 400 some odd miles today after 500 some odd miles yesterday, so we are tired and it is to cold to go outside anyway. There was a lot less traffic between Charlotte and DC versus Tuscaloosa and Charlotte. We stopped just outside Charlotte to fillup at a Sheetz. It was fabulous.


There were lots of wildflowers along the way.

As soon as we checked in we went to the FedEx and thankfully our back up tickets were there. We got notification that our original tickets, the ones Pat gave Lisa for Christmas would be delivered on May 21, the day after the show. Stubhub suck.
