Post show and touring DC
The Dave and Tim show was fabulous. Our seats were about a 100 feet from the stage, we were on the last row so we sat on the backs of our seat for a clear view of the stage. Excellent guitar playing and singing. We didn't hear all of our favorite songs but it was quite a night for Dave Matthews fans. After the concert we walked past the White House back to our room. Lots of people sleeping on the sidewalks in Obama's DC. Today we walked down to the Lincoln Memorial, got on a tour bus and rode over to Arlington Cemetery. Somewhere today we passed a group of Japanese tourists and one of them made a comment about "emperor" Obama. Anyway we went on to Arlington.
The dogwoods are still blooming.

The changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
After Arlington we got a bite to eat at a Cosi. Then we rode the tour bus up past the National Cathedral, down through Georgetown, Foggy Bottom and back to town. This is a canal that connects to the Potomac.
