Yee ha, ride em cowboy.

Saturday night we went to the Pro Bull Ride at the Horseshoe Arena in Midland. For an extra $5 we had VIP tickets.  We were on the ground, up close, but we had to look through the rails.  The camera focused on the rails, so the background, the bulls, were out of focus.  So not any really good photos.  There were quite a few Mexicans there, but plenty of white folks, so we did not stick out like rednecks from Alabama.  Lots of cowboys wearing their blue jeans, boots, starched long sleeve western shirts and cowboy hats.  I sort of felt like Bud and Sissy were in the audience somewhere. They said a prayer before the riding began and played lots of patriotic music.

The Texas flag was hanging from the ceiling.

Here is a bull they are trying to get back in the holding area. Some of the bulls acted like they knew they would get a treat when they got back there so they hurried back after throwing the cowboy off their back.

Another bull being stubborn.  We're not sure how they keep score.  But the bull can win.
At half time, they got three dudes from the audience, put barrels on their head, spun them around and made them race.
Back at the ranch, we hung a new bird feeder.  We still mostly get house finches.
The first hummingbird appeared yesterday.  It came back today and stayed awhile.
The dove is able to perch on this feeder.
 Red wing black bird too.
