The Champlins left Midland, TX this morning at 7AM and arrived in The Woodlands, TX at 3:45. It was not a bad trip, but we did not plan well and got sort of discombobulated near Temple, TX. But we saw some beautiful countryside along the way. We are staying at the Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. We are here to watch the Dave Matthews Band kick off the 2012 Tour Friday night. Saturday we'll drive up to Dallas for night two of the tour. There is an Ironman competition going on here this weekend, so there are lots of ironmen looking men and women here.
All the Bluebonnets were gone but there were some nice wild flowers to see.
