Asheville

Pat and Lisa made it to Asheville. We had an uneventful trip. Here is a picture of downtown.

We got here around 4PM, snoozed for awhile, then drove around town. Erin called Pat to tell him it was flash flooding in Tuscaloosa and she and Jack were out driving around in it. Thanks for the call. We went and ate sushi at a place called Wasabi ( http://www.ichibanwasabi.com/ ) Sushi good. Then we drove around looking for a grocery store. We finally found a store called Engles. We got some snacks. Earlier we found the Biltmore House. We plan to go there tomorrow. There is a hot tub right outside our room so we soaked in it for awhile. There were some folks from Illinois soaking also. If we can squeeze it in we might go here http://www.shojiretreats.com/ Oh yeah, there are many tatooed and pierced kids on the streets here. This place reminds us of Taos. They have the Taos Hum out there. In Asheville they claim the Ashville Vortex. Read about it here ( http://hillbillywhitetrash.blogspot.com/2007/01/asheville-vortex.html ) We haven't felt anything mystical yet. Seems kind of like a hilly Alabama to Pat.
