Return to Golfing

Here is a picture of Halle sitting on the porch.

Pat and Jack played golf on Friday at Ol Colony. It was fun. Pat needs a set of new irons. This is a good place to buy them: http://www.tgw.com/ We got the grass cut and unpacked some stuff on Saturday. We still have a lot of junk in the garage. Pat went to the Farmer's Market early Saturday morning. White people love farmers markets. Go here to see some other stuff white people like http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.com/ . Pat bought some plums, peaches, blueberries and corn. For dinner Saturday night, Lisa prepared Tomato Tart and Portabello mushroom marinated in balsamic vinegar with brown sugar, topped with provolone cheese and broiled.
It was delicious. For desert, we broiled some peaches and covered them with vanilla ice cream. Good eating there. Sunday night we invited Jacob over for dinner. Jacob was in Drew's wedding and is also friends with Erin. He just finished his first year of med school followed by a road trip to Alaska. Erin and Jack also joined us. For dinner we had fried corn, sauteed squash, salad and both low and high fat grilled sausage. For desert, we had baked peaches and blueberries smothered in ice cream. More good eating.
Here is a picture of a male gold finch. These birds are supposed to be way up north by now. His yellow color was so bright that we weren't sure what he was.

We are having a feast on the 4th of July. If you can make it come on over.
