Harvest time

After the road trip to Asheville we enjoyed a slow weekend at home. Jack's mother and sister were in town and came over for dinner Friday night. We enjoyed their visit.

I took this picture of a hummingbird at rest on the feeder. It actually sat there for 20-30 seconds.
The hydrangeas we planted are blooming.

This is the first tomato from the garden this year.

It made it to our dinner table Saturday night. Can you guess what the other stuff on that plate is? It was delicious.
