Then we went and had breakfast at this place http://michaelskitchen.com/ . It was ok. We had a big breakfast because we were going on the Trolley Tour at 10:45. The tour started off driving by some notable places in Taos. We eventually made it out to Taos Pueblo. http://www.taospueblo.com/ This is a 900 year old Indian community.
We then stopped at the San Francisco De Asis Church.
The tour ended and we went back to our casa. We stopped at a little coffee shop and had ice cream for lunch. Lisa had Pinon Caramel, Pat had Cherry Chocolate Pinon. It was good.
For dinner we went to Steakout Bar and Grill. http://www.stakeoutrestaurant.com/ This place is located south of Taos on the side of a mountain. We went there to get some good sunset pics but it was cloudy and raining. For dinner, we split some artichoke goat cheese soup. That was the best part of the meal. Lisa had a filet. It was OK. Pat ordered the Buffalo Rib Eye. It was disappointing. The service and atmosphere was great though. This is were the Chevron folks have business dinners so maybe I'll get to go back and try some other stuff.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT MARI CHAMPLIN SCOTT!
