It may be 105 degrees and the wind is blowing 25 mph most days lately, but the food here on the ranch has been delicious every day. We had some of the best watermelon this weekend we have ever eaten. The cantaloupes and strawberries have been superb as well. Dinner Saturday night was pan seared, Heinz 57 and honey glazed, grass fed pork chops, baked sweet potatoes and black-eyed peas. Sunday night was pan seared, Dales glazed, grass fed rib eye beef steak, with a gourmet blend of wild and whole grain brown rice. The rice was topped with gravy made from the rib eye juice left over in the pan. We have top notch cooks here at the ranch. Here is the Saturday night dinner.
We also got the curtains in the den hung.
And the curtains in the breakfast nook.
The wind is blowing up the dust and its hot as a hairdryer outside, but the sunset is pretty.
