Home in Alabama

We got home about 1:30 AM. Our flight from Albuquerque to Denver was delayed about an hour. When we arrived in Denver, I got an email from United that our connecting flight had been canceled and we were re-booked for an 11 am flight Saturday. We deplaned next to the gate we were supposed to use for the Birmingham flight. We noticed the sign said flight closed, but they let us get on, wonder why the email about it being canceled and the earlier email about it being delayed till 930PM. Anyway, we hopped on the plane at the original scheduled time of 730, looking forward to getting home around 11 PM. It occurred to me they might not be able to transfer our luggage and sure enough they didn't. So after waiting to see that our luggage didn't make it, filing a report on my cell phone with some lady in India, waiting in line at the burger king only to have our order screwed up, we finally got home at 1:30AM. But it was a great trip.
