Something about the food, it tastes better in New Mexico

And the days are longer. The sun was shining brightly into our adobe well before 545 AM. We got up and had the oatmeal. Then we drove over to Cimmaron through the Cimmaron Canyon State Park. It was a nice mountain drive. We took a few pics, but none of outstanding artistic quality. Seems like we had to walk around in some shops today. Before we left we had this lunch at the adobe. It consisted of fresh strawberries, grapes, cantaloupe, bananas, jack cheese and crackers. We ate outside on the covered patio. It was about 70 degrees, bright sunshine and no humidity. We dread the dog days of summer in Alabama, when it gets up into the 90s and all that humidity. At least there aren't a lot of shops.

For dinner we went to Graham's Grill. This is one of our favorites of all time. To start off, Pat had a small house salad called a bacon and blue. You know what was in it. It was fabuloso.

For dinner, Lisa selected the corn chowder, I think it had crab in it too and a salad. She said it was delicious.

Pat had the trout, which was lightly dusted with cornmeal and then sauteed. It was delectable. The fries with it were good.

Since we ate a light lunch and dinner we were destined to order deserts. Lisa ordered the Blackberry and Blueberry Cobbler. Tell me that doesn't look magnifico.

Pat had the Mexican Chocolate Sunday. That is a bowl of ice cream with nuts and whipped cream. The green cup beside it contained a hot Mexican chocolate fudge laced with Cinnamon. Wow.

After dinner we walked around town admiring the art. There are a bunch of old hippies in town this week.
