Monsoon season in Taos
We woke up to a rainy day in Taos. Pat cooked oatmeal in the kitchen, then we went to the Taos Farmer's Market. About all they had were vegetables, mostly radishes. They were very colorful though. We went to the Harwood Museum where Dennis Hopper and some of his friends have a show. After that we went to Bent Street and did some shopping. Then we came back to the adobe and had lunch. It was still raining so we went to the Millicent Rogers Museum. By now, about 3PM, the sun was beginning to peak through the clouds. We drove up to Aroyo Seco and looked around. With all the rain, things look pretty lush around here. We had dinner a Orlando's. It is a great Mexican restaurant. No website. The sun is now shining brightly so we are going to try out the hot tub tonight and maybe see some stars.
This was the weather we woke up to.
This is what Pat had for dinner tonight. Pork tenderloins, blue corn cheese enchilada, beans and posole.
