We got back to Midland in just under 11 hours. We only stopped at two rest stops, two gas stations and pulled through a McDonald's for lunch. While I was walking Halle at the Texas rest stop on the Texas/Louisiana border, I observed some other travelers walking their roosters. Halle stared at me most of the trip. She is konked out now.
